Zara Khan, the daughter of Pakistan-born British actress Salma Agha, had lodged a complaint with Mumbai’s Oshiwara police station on Instagram about rape threats. Zara has stated in her complaint that between 28 October and 3 November, she was threatened with rape by an unknown man on Instagram. The police have arrested one of the accused, acting on Zara’s complaint.

According to a report by Bollywood Hungama, while investigating Zara’s complaint, the police found out that the threatening person is a 23-year-old MBA student from Hyderabad. Senior Inspector of Oshiwara police station said that after the complaint, information was given to the cyber cell which revealed the local IP address. Police said that the name of the accused is Noora Sarwar, who has maintained a fake profile on Instagram.

The police have also come to know that Noora and her co-worker work for a political party and were threatening Jara Khan under the same.
